Midnight photo shoot for Sony
We recently art directed a photo shoot to launch the Sony 4K cinema projector - it wasn’t just a standard photo shoot it involved Crash test dummies in a cinema!
Because we needed the cinema to be free from customers and also potential interruptions, we had to start the photo shoot after the last showing at midnight. We used actual crash test dummies for authenticity which are much heavier than we originally thought – they all weigh at least 15 stone! Tiring work when you are shooting through the night! There were five shots that we needed, all of which involved different combinations of dummies in different poses, and in different scenarios. The result of the shoot was great – we got all of the shots we wanted and the final images look fantastic. Take a look at the video to see the fun we had getting the perfect results.
