A day in the life of...

    Shane

When leaving my old trendy Soho office with all its tight jeans and big hair I was asked “Why the hell are you leaving London?”. A fair question for anyone in the digital industry.

However, my decision was completely vindicated when on my first morning, a beautiful May Monday, my 10 min walk along the seafront felt a million miles from the previous Friday when I was squeezed on the tube from Brixton to Oxford Circus.

The day passed without too much incident, as most first days do, apart from Ed the office dog continually barking over a conference call...obviously!

The day ended on a similarly high note. Intrigued to know more about the area, I went for a drive and stumbled upon a little known place called Sandbanks...rather nice actually. And as the sun set, whilst having a spot of dinner I recounted how the agency I had just spent my first day with had a highly impressive client list (with budgets!), a great bunch of people, fantastic location, great ambition and great expertise.

It was different. And sometimes different can be better.
